TUESDAY BREAKFAST RIDE - FLYING BISCUIT CAFE - DEPARTS HoD

Event date:
Tue, 07/16/2024 - 8:25am

Let’s have a breakfast ride to beat the heat – but still ride and have fun. We’ll meet at Heart of Dixie – rider meeting 8:25 am KSU 8:30 am.

We’ll ride about nine miles to the restaurant, Flying Biscuit Café for breakfast (If you haven’t eaten here, it’s a real hoot with some of the best grits around).

The total ride will be approximately 70 miles and will take about two+ hours – the destination is the 51 Country Store in Sterrett, AL, so we should all be home before it gets too hot. One stop is planned. Some roads are new – some are old, but we haven’t been on them for a while, and some will be familiar if you went on the riding for research ride last September. This ride has a Johanna scenic rating of 8 out of 10, with three RR crossings.

Hope to see you there and remember it’s always more fun when you’re there!!

Road Captain John – 301.788.8257 .  As always remember full tank – empty bladder. Please RSVP on Hog Scan or text me if you plan to attend so I can warn the restaurant.  [😊]

(As with all rides remember to arrive on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle with a full fuel tank.  Must present your current HOG membership card with the 2024 Heart of Dixie sticker attached.  Rain cancels ride.  Allow yourself enough time for personal needs, (restroom, socialize, etc.)
