*** RIDE RESCHEDULED TO 4/5/2025 DUE TO WEATHER *** SATURDAY RIDE - RED'S LITTLE SCHOOL HOUSE - DEPARTS HOD

Event date:

*** RIDE RESCHEDULED DUE TO WEATHER FOR 4/5/2025 ***

Destination: Red's Little Schoolhouse, Grady AL
This ride departs from HoD. The rider's meeting will be at 8:30 AM. KSU will follow.
This is roughly 120 miles one way and a little over 2.5 hours of saddle time. The parking lot is loose gravel in some places, packed gravel and grass. There is an entrance close to the packed gravel and grass. This is where we will park.
The route is all back roads, some we have traveled often and others we have not seen in a long while. There will be plenty of open roads on this trip. The decision of when to take a break will be largely dependent on the makeup of the group.
Option 1 - One break at the 60 mile point. (Marathon on SR143 in Friendship)
Option 2 - Two breaks, one at 40 miles, the other at 80 miles. (Circle K on US31 in Clanton at I-65, Chevron on SR231 in Wetumpka.)
The route back will head to HoD on 231, where the first place to get gas is a BP Station about 15 miles from the restaurant, and we should be there just before the first bike night of the season starts to assist with set up.
