CHAPTER 20TH YEAR CELEBRATION RIDE - ROCK'S FAMOUS BBQ - DEPARTS HOD

Destination: Rock's Famous Barbecue, Prattville  
This ride will depart from HoD.
Rider's meeting at 9:25 am. KSU will follow.

This ride will go through State Park to the Home Depot. From there we will cross 31 and turn left at 95 following it to 44 and then over to 17.

After leaving Montevallo there will be numerous open roads, all of which we have traveled before.

There will be a scheduled break at the Chevron station on 82 in Maplesville.

This is our Chapter's 20th Anniversary Commemorative Ride. The actual date of the first ride was 1/24/2004.

The original destination was Steak N Shake in Prattville. It was impossible to recreate the destination as it is no longer operational.

The chosen destination has excellent food and enough space to handle a good crowd of HOGS.

To commemorate this ride, the Chapter has commissioned a patch to be made and distributed to all participating members.

You must complete the ride to get a patch. Any undistributed patches will be sold at chapter meetings until gone.

(As with all rides remember to arrive on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle with a full fuel tank.  Must present your current HOG membership card with the 2023 Heart of Dixie sticker attached.  Rain cancels ride.  Allow yourself enough time for personal needs, (restroom, socialize, etc.)

Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member.  All guests must sign an event release. Be aware, all rides and events are subject to change or cancellation due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.

Impairment Policy: The consumption and use of alcohol is a serious personal responsibility involving the safety of family, riding friends and the individual HOG member. Alcohol consumption before or during a motorcycling activity is not safe, responsible behavior. Heart of Dixie Chapter #1590 does not allow the use of alcohol or drugs before or during a riding event* and does not furnish alcohol at Chapter rides. Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or drugs before riding cannot join the ride. Riders using alcohol or drugs while riding will be asked to leave the ride. It is the responsibility of each Template Chapter member to support the consistent enforcement of this policy

Photography Policy: Photographing, filming, recording and videotaping of activities and events will be occurring Heart of Dixie Chapter events. By entering the H.O.G.® event area, you irrevocably grant permission to the Harley-Davidson Motor Company® and its agents to photograph, film, record and/or videotape you and use (and authorize the use of) your name, image, likeness, voice, and/or biographical or other information in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed in perpetuity for any and all purposes.
